DIY: Decoupage

Since I've been so fascinated by a decoupage iphone case found at Etsy,
I finally tried to make decoupage cups and plates with a product called "chemage" using frumafar. green feather design following the instructions of about.com

It wasn't hard or difficult to do at all.
Basically you just need to cut and paste the pattern printed on paper, paint the chemage where you lay the pattern on the plate, and apply the chemage over the pattern once again.

Tips: I recommend using thinner paper for a nicer and smoother finish. I used rice paper for the cup handle part of the decoupage.
Lastly, a laser printer is better to print out your design than inkjet so as to avoid any ink bleeding when you apply the chemage onto the pattern.
